After its initial crowdfunding launch in 2020 and overcoming numerous hurdles, including the death of director Yoshitaka Murayama, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is finally playable. However, players of the Nintendo Switch version are encountering significant problems, including a glitch that hinders the recruitment of an important character and another that blocks entry to the game's War Mode. Rabbit and Bear Studios has acknowledged these issues and expressed a commitment to resolving them as quickly as possible. They have prioritized researching and implementing technical enhancements to improve the game’s performance on the Switch and anticipate releasing a patch to resolve these issues promptly.

The studio is currently finalizing Version 1.0.4, which is expected to address these significant progression issues. As of now, players can download Version 1.0.3, which addresses various other concerns related to game stability, optimization, and balance, although complete patch notes have yet to be disclosed.
